Welcome!
We are so excited that you are here, theatre is a community effort that needs all kinds of people!
Actors, musicians, tech crew, set design and building. costume, makeup, kid wrangling, ticketing, refreshments,etc.
There are usually a lot of questions that come with wanting to be a part
of a show. So we’re going to do our best to answer them right here! If you have any

Where: Fort Columbia Theater, Chinook, Wa (On top of the tunnel)
Do I need to come all days? - No! Feel free to drop in any day and any time between the hours posted!
What will I be asked do? - You will be asked to read a short monologue, sing something and do some simple movement.
What do I bring? - Feel free to bring yourself and a friend! We will have monologues for you to choose and read from, unless you would like to bring your own family friendly one. You may sing to music or a cappella.
Who can audition? - The auditions are open. Teenagers and Adults are welcome! You do not need to be from a certain area or a member of PAPA to join in the fun!
Are any roles filled? - No! All roles are open and needed! There will be a special spot on the audition form if you want to make sure we know you would like to fill a certain role.
What if I can’t make auditions but still want to be in the show? - We are more than happy to accommodate private auditions. Preferably before the listed audition dates, just call the number above or shoot us an email at info@papatheater.org and we will fit you in!
When are performances? - We open July 8th and close the Sunday July 31st. Friday, Saturday evening and Sunday matinee. Unless you are double cast you are needed at all performances. (We typically don’t rehearse between performances just weekends of fun!)
If there isn’t a good role for me, can I still help? - Yes! We would love for you to be apart of the family! We will need lots of help producing this show and there are many ways to be involved. Head on over to our ;Get Involved&; tab to see a sample of the opportunities!
